We seek to partner with leading global institutions, charitable organisations and corporate partners as part of our mission to connect medical professionals with the general public, to improve public awareness of heart disease prevention.
Kings College London – Enterprise Scheme
We have partnered with Kings College London in support of the KCL London Enterprise Scheme. London Enterprise is a final-year course taken by teams of bioscience undergraduates. Through partnerships with external organisations, such as the Healthy Heart Trust, students co-create a project and provide research outputs. Over the course of two 12 week semesters in the academic year 2024-25, two groups of students will deliver research and content delivery projects for the Healthy Heart Trust, as part of supporting the charity’s goals in the cardiovascular space in the Public Health sector.

“The scheme is a fantastic opportunity for university students to gain real-world exposure in a relevant field and contribute towards their course credits. Their research and hands-on content creation will have an immediate and lasting commercial impact for us as a public health organisation looking to extend our reach.” – Professor Albert Ferro, Chair, Healthy Heart Trust
The KCL course lead, Professor Manasi Nandi stated ‘We are delighted
to partner with the Healthy Heart Trust this year, providing our final-year
students with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the
operations and challenges of healthcare charities. This collaboration will
allow them to conduct in-depth research to identify the most effective methods
for conveying vital information about cardiovascular disease prevention to the
public. Through this engagement, our students will not only refine their
research and professional skills but also contribute meaningfully to the
Trust’s efforts to enhance public awareness of cardiovascular disease risks and
prevention.”
Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine – Sponsorship
We have a long history of sponsorship from the Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine (FPM), who generously support the Healthy Heart Trust to deliver our events, which in the past have included World Healthy Life Week live streamed panel discussions and webinars.

The FPM originally had a pioneering role in co-ordinating and providing an impetus to the development of postgraduate medical education in London and throughout the United Kingdom. It remains active in supporting postgraduate medical education and research through its two journals and holding and supporting conferences, workshops, debates and other activities.
