Webinars

The Healthy Heart Trust has published a large number of webinars historically, covering topical cardiovascular and linked health issues and diseases.

Areas that have been covered in the past include exploring the links between heart health and mental health, and the under-explored differences in cardiovascular presentation, prevention and treatment strategies between genders and background.

World Healthy Life WeekPanel Discussions and Seminars

World Healthy Life Week, created and run by the Healthy Heart Trust, had sought to take a holistic view of our heart health and to provoke conversation and challenge pre-conceptions around key topics. The aim of the event was to exchange knowledge among both professionals and members of the public, through seminars and panel discussions led by external and international experts in the relevant field.

Topics covered over the past few years, both as part of World Healthy Life and as selected events, include:

“Economic Inequality and Cardiovascular Disease – the Evidence”

“Racial Equality and Hypertension – Challenging Assumptions”

“Women’s Cardiovascular Health – Addressing the Blind Spots”

“Long-Covid and Cardiovascular Disease” & “Interplay Between Cardiovascular Disease and Covid-19”

“Mental Health and Circulation: Close Links”

“Exercise For Better Health” and “Returning to Exercise”

“Stroke in Newborn Infants and Young Children”
